Tasty & OPULENT

A unique take on the classic summer backyard burger. The "Backyard Privilege Burger" Blends a 75/25 percent Wagyu blend, a spicy secret sauce and translucent grilled onions.  Ohh and don't forget the spicy pickles. Create your own combination based on the condiments and protein you love, or try one of Chef Rolo's classics.

FROM THE FRONTIER TO YOU

We'd love to cook for you in person, but unless you visit us at the state fair, we know that's not always practical. That's why we're happy to bring you the rugged fresh flavor of the Frontier to your home. And while we can't bring you to the forest, plains, and pastures, we hope that our loving combination of fresh vegetables & grilled meat makes you feel a sense of rugged frontier freedom.

Beyond the scope of simplicity

Fair Fish

Always mindful of the ocean’s dwindling fish supply, we source the fish used on our show from certified sustainable farms raised here U.S.A.

Local Agriculture

Where your food comes from matters,so we rely exclusively on local farmers to supply us with fresh,farm-to-table meats, veggies & fruits

Grass Fed Beef

We believe “beef is what’s for dinner” is a great motto, but only when it comes from free-roaming, pasture-raised cattle that are grass fed

No Pesticides

The farms and orchards we rely on are all earth-friendly, sustainable & always free of pesticides. Free of harsh chemicals that can harm you & the environment.

BPA Free Cookware

Teflon, heavy-metal and BPA cookware are NO-NOs in our kitchen; instead we cook everything using centuries-old techniques

like BBQ grills and cast-iron pots & pans

Non-GMO Ingredients

The food you eat should never come from a factory or a lab, so we provide you with healthy recipes that call for ingredients that are always fresh, natural and non-gmo

OUR grilling

Just the name Hearty Comfort Meals inspired me to look into his website after searching Google for comforting types of foods. I am sure glad I did. Rolo has mouth watering foods on his website in which I couldn’t resist in viewing. I opted into trying one of his easy to follow recipes (Beef Braised Short Ribs, and Princess Potatoes), and WOW… my tastebuds were popping from the amazing savory flavors. I also shared this meal to a couple of my friends and they were just as hooked as I was. Thank you Hearty Comfort Meals for making my life easy in following your recipes, and videos. I can’t wait to try future recipes that you provide so I can continue to share them with friends and family.

It has been my sincere pleasure to have had the opportunity on several occasions to dine with Mr. Rolo Abanilla. This gentleman is a chef of the highest caliber. His food is a gastronomic delight of flavors. He does have a inclination towards habanero and other Latin spice which I adore.

His attention to detail is spot on, with cleanliness top notch. He loves his work and treats his guests as family. His presentation is absolutely exceptional. I really can’t wait to see what is on his menu the next time my husband and I get to visit.
